We are wrapping up our ⇧ SHIFT series with one final gathering and afterparty. Over the past several months, SHIFT has invited new ways of thinking about the dance floor through conversations that have provided deeper context to the club. A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for the sound design workshop and afterparty with Piezo and the artist talk and afterparty with i+eo!
We will be closing out in proper warehouse fashion, with an ode to our local scene and collaborations old and new! For this final SHIFT afterparty we are excited to welcome Vancouver artists TUCY and DR BPM (DRILL Events) for an extended back to back set and debut of their collaboration as 3C-MD. Both artists played some of our early Resonance events, and it has been incredible to watch their artistic paths as DJs, producers and event organizers evolve alongside our own. Bringing these two together for a long form set feels like the perfect way to close the series. Resonance DJs will open and close the night, keeping the genre expansive energy that has shaped our events from the very beginning.
In keeping with the local and collaborative spirit of this event, we are excited to be joined by visual artists Juliana Sech and Pimb. They are linking up to share their multi-media visual installation with us. Something immersive and textural for the senses.
Expect the unexpected, eclectic, heady, fun, freaky energy from 10 til late. Come celebrate with us on March 27th at thee warehouse (iykyk).

⋆ ˚｡⋆ To close this series we are hosting our usual two events in one day, but this time it will be a little bit different. Rather than a daytime workshop or artist talk, we will be hosting a creative mixer + discussion + zine launch to connect with and celebrate local underground artists and organizers prior to the after-party at 10PM. This will be an opportunity to connect with and hear from some of our local music event organizers. This one is for everyone - artists, organizers, party-goers, or anyone interested in getting involved in the electronic music scene - who sustains this underground music scene! ⋆ ˚｡⋆
